I lock the cat flap once it gets dark at night because R and I took the decision that the Ladies were staying in at night. They have plenty of time to play in the garden during the day and we didn’t want the worry of wondering where they were – plus the potential of […]
I asked R what meetings he had today. His reply was “A veritable panoply of them”. When I enquired when these were so I could schedule meals around them, it turned out there were two! Now I know R has a very wide vocabulary and often comes up with words I have never heard before, […]
It’s been a bit of a wait as the demand for panels is understandably huge at the moment. Getting 40 fitted took two days for the roof work and one for the electrics. The PowerWall is sitting with US customs at the moment but should be with us shortly. Unfortunately this leaves us in a […]

Saphy got her first bird today. She has been hanging around the feeder for weeks now but she has obviously managed to hone her skills sufficiently to catch one. She killed it and brought it in to R’s bedroom, strewing copious numbers of feathers over the carpet. We didn’t get our new car yet again […]
Great colour shots of the two martens who have been visiting recently We used to only see them in the daylight very rarely but since we got the two scared lady cats rather than the big male bruisers they seem to be coming more often.
