Advent 5th Dec – Frozen Loch, Frozen Sky

This was taken from the beach at Inverlounin House, right at the end of the road along the loch. It was a particularly cold morning, though I am using poetic license in saying that the loch was frozen, because as a sea loch it freezes at a lower temperature (-2) than if it were fresh. The fact that it is tidal must also help to stop ice forming.

Anyway, this was taken in Jan 2014 and it was very pretty.
