Advent – 4th Dec Christmas Cake

This was my Christmas cake last year – it looks nice but it was a bit over-cooked.

Actually I have to say that I am not that fond of Christmas cake anyway – it is alright – but at this time of year when there are so many other nice things around I can easily pass on it. I’m going to try my Mary Berry one this year though because it does look quite nice. And it has been ‘fed’ with about half a bottle of brandy!
