Rain, rain, rain…..

It has now rained without fail every day for the last week. Yesterday was particularly wet – it more or less poured down for the whole day.

I’m reminded of the fact that this time last year it started raining two days after we moved in, and basically didn’t stop until March. I’m really hoping this won’t happen this year and we will get a few bright autumn days for walking before the winter sets in. I also wouldn’t mind a bit (not too much) of snow – we hardly saw any last year. Having said this, it would be very easy to overdo that – I remember what winter 2010 was like even in Livingston when we couldn’t get the car out of the drive for six weeks and had to walk to ASDA with rucksacks to get food. That wouldn’t be a happening deal here, so we have to make sure to keep well stocked up with provisions.

This afternoon I went out for a look at the Donich and took a brief video of it.
