The caravan park is normally rather an ugly blemish on the side of the loch, but this sunset managed to make it beautiful. I took this on 28th Dec last year which is always a peaceful interlude between Christmas and R’s birthday which is on 29th.
I went for a walk around 4:30pm today just as the sun was going down over the snowy mountains. The sky colour was unreal – very spectacular.

This was the view at sunset today on the way down the Donich Circular walk – quite spectacular. Later, sitting in my office there was a thin crescent moon visible out of the window and lots of bats flitting about – it would have been spooky if it weren’t so lovely.
