Beautiful rainbow today

R and I walked out to Drimsynie Beg this afternoon. It was sunny and raining at the same time in true Argyll style, and we saw a fantastic rainbow.

This evening I also passed another milestone by managing to balance on my left leg for 30 seconds without holding on to anything. Three months after the op I couldn’t stand just on that foot at all. By Christmas I could stand on it alone but only balance by holding on to a rail. For the last few weeks I have been managing an increasing number of seconds, and suddenly today I was able to do it quite easily.

If it is a nice day tomorrow I am planning to try the steep scrambly steps beyond the waterfall up towards the head of the hydro.
