Nice walk today

I went out on the coach road about half a mile beyond the “big stone” for two and a half miles in total. I have now abandoned the stick apart for the first time I do walks that may be rough (I have the waterfall walk in my sights).

Lovely autumn day. There were some coos in the field – not Heilan’ ones unfortunately.

This was where I got to – the path after the stone is actually really good so fairly soon I should be able to make it to Drumsyniebeg (four miles there and back from an approximation on Google Earth) – by my schedule that should be in three weeks’ time. I turned back at a tree with some interesting bracket fungi.

Back in the garden, I noticed there were a couple of nice flowers still out.
