Still life with vegetables

J passed “Nature’s Harvest” in Helensburgh on his way here to stay for a few days. This is one of my favourite shops as they always have a great range of local produce as well as some heritage stuff (like gooseberries) that are difficult to get elsewhere.

In the fruit bowl they look exactly like a still life. Afraid they were equally desirable in a sauce and have now been consumed.
