Site for Garage

We are thinking of getting a garage put up. The house originally had an integral double garage, but our need to have two separate offices was greater than that for the garage and we had it converted back in 2017. Now we realize that we could do with one, because apart from the car sitting out in all weathers, we also have weather sensitive kit like Rowley the robot lawnmower (who is continuing to do a great job btw) and next year I am getting an eTrike (more about this later if it comes off). We also have loads of power tools which keep getting damp in the rather leaky sheds we are storing them in at the moment.

So the idea is to get a base made by a local builder, and then a prefab concrete slab garage put on top of it by a company from the North of England who would come in an install it. It would go to the side of the house where at the moment there is an overgrown patch with a rather decayed hedge and fence. R had a little preliminary clear of it last night and the builder came and gave it a quick look. So we are waiting from a quote from him, but unless it is exorbitant we will go ahead.
