Off to Norfolk

I’m off to Little Walsingham in Norfolk tomorrow with my friend J. His Mum died in April and we are going down for her memorial service and also to “House Doctor” the house there so it can be sold.

It is a lovely house though in need of a bit of modernising. I also really like Walsingham and Norfolk in general, although I don’t think we will have much time for sightseeing this week.

I have to make the obligatory joke about Norfolk now – “it is a really nice place, it could just do with a few more hills and surnames”. I think that came from Bill Bryson – he must have liked the place though as he lived there for many years.
