More Deer

R managed to snap a nice little stag eating a tree just outside his window.

We’ve had a few deer in this year, and I hope it means that the population is coming back. I know there are too many deer in Scotland and they have to be culled, but I think they went too far with it a few years ago, as last year and the year before we didn’t see any around at all.

So they are welcome to have as many trees as they like in the garden – even though they did kill my pear tree a few years ago.
