Exercise going well
I am enjoying the new recumbent exercise bike. In a week I have worked up from 15 minutes to 30 minutes a day.
The main problem I have is being too enthusiastic – I am trying not to take my heart rate over 145 for the first few weeks as I haven’t been able to exercise for a while, and I keep accidentally accelerating over 14mph and heading towards 150.
It is good fun and I am not having the trouble with keeping my Aircast boot on the pedal that I thought I might have. I’m not sure if it would be alright to take it off while I exercise, but I am erring on the side of caution and keeping it on. I listen to an audio book while I am “cycling” but I am thinking of trying videos of great cycle rides – there is a slot for a tablet on the machine which the Surface should fit into nicely.
