Ventured out

Nice day today, so I went outside walking on my crutches to sit on the patio with R for half an hour – it was 24 degrees in the sun and both of the cats went off to hide in the shade.

I’d no difficulty walking up and down the steps. I do have a photo of myself on the patio, but I decided when I started this blog that I wouldn’t put pictures of myself on it – so I haven’t.

Instead, here is a picture of an interesting owl pellet which was on the front door step. I am not surprised to see it as the owl activity has been at super high levels this year. Judging from the amount of hooting that has been going on, there is going to be a bumper crop of owlets coming soon.
