Wildlife fun…

This morning R went to put seeds out for the wildlife and discovered that a squirrel had managed to get itself locked into the shed. He opened the window and it exited rapidly. Lucky was lurking outside and made a play for it – but it was too fast for him and got away into the trees.

Then this afternoon I was doing my exercises (lying on the bed) when I saw something shoot past out of the corner of my eye. It was Saphy playing with the large (dead) vole she had just caught.

It is obviously that season again. R went for a walk and took some great photos. I have to admit that it makes me a bit sad that I can’t go with him – but hopefully in a couple of months I will be back up there.
