Three become four…

We now have four sheep. I wonder how long this can go on for before someone notices?

I also discovered some gaps in R’s education. He is kindly bringing me my food to my desk as I can’t easily transport it myself at the moment. Today my pepper pot was decidedly lukewarm, and I also noticed that the plate was cold. When I explored what he had done to heat the food up from the freezer, I discovered that he had just put the plastic container in the microwave, heated it until it was defrosted and then given it a couple of minutes to heat up further. He equated a couple of bubbles forming in the stew with it being “boiling”.
In fact I never defrost food in the original container, and I strongly suspect that if he had heated it until it was properly hot, it would have melted it all over the inside of the microwave. So now he knows to put it in a proper plate and actually test the heat before he serves it. He also found out that you don’t need to switch on the 3.5KW electric oven just to heat up two rolls!
