More sheep

It has been a while since we had sheep in our garden, but this small flock (three ewes and a ram) have been here a few days now. I wish they would stay as they help to keep the lawn under control.

We are really going to have to decide what to do about the lawn as it was not mowed at all last year because I was not fit to do it, and I didn’t manage to persuade J to have a go. This year we either need to buy a new lawnmower which is light enough for me to use, or get a gardener in. I am inclining towards the former because we have had zero luck with acquiring any help in the garden. I tried to find one a few years ago and the only offer I had was from a guy in Helensburgh who wanted to charge us £50 an hour. As this is more than half what I actually make myself it would just not be worth it. So I am thinking of a battery powered electric model as petrol ones are too heavy, and corded electrics are out of the question as the distances involved are too huge.
