Free at last…

I went to see the consultant at Ross Hall yesterday and have been formally discharged from wearing my sling (actually I had stopped wearing it full time a few days before). My arm is a bit restricted in movement and very weak, but it is not painful and I can now do most things that I want to (apart from lifting heavy weights and playing rugby…) I am now having physio for the next couple of months to build my arm back up.

We left for Glasgow at dawn and didn’t get back until late – but the weather was cold and crisp with just a little snow on the drive when we got back.

I am typing this with both hands!
