Red legs and a tail

R is away in London (again!). He normally feeds the cats and makes the coffee in the mornings, because Lucky (although largely domesticated now) is still suffering from some aggression issues. Specifically when he is “hangry” in the mornings, he has a tendency to swipe out at the legs and hands that are trying to feed him.

So as I am on cat duty this morning, R recommended wearing a thick pair of trousers to avoid clawage. Here are my red trousers which normally pass for best and are moderately swipe proof. If you look closely at the extreme left of the picture you may see a tail. This belongs to Saphy, who is now engaged in a spider hunt along the edge of the french windows in my office.
