Jacqui Lawson Calendar

My Mum, J and I do the Jacqui Lawson Advent Calendar every year. I tried to get R into it a few years ago but it is not his cup of tea. The Jacqui Lawson website is great for sending HTML greetings cards by email, and every year she does an Advent Calendar – for each day in Dec there is a nice video with a different Christmas theme (things like ice skating, making plum pudding etc). There is also a virtual “drawing room” where you can do activities such as games, jigsaw puzzles etc.
This year the theme is the Edwardian Christmas House, and two of the activities this year so far were making a floral arrangement and decorating the Christmas tree – once you have completed them, your finished results show up in the drawing room (and sometimes in the windows of the house itself). The above picture shows my efforts.

J is very disappointed, because the last couple of years there has been a game where you can hunt down elves (find them that is – crossbows not involved), and this year it is no longer present.
