Solar in April

This was our solar production in April. It was looking really good until the last week when it dropped for a while because the weather was exceptionally dreich.

May is so far looking even better – we have used no grid electricity in the last few days. It is unfortunate that there is no getting over the fact that in Argyll you just don’t get enough light in Nov/Jan/Feb to maintain a normal life. I’m not changing my way of life to have us be energy self-sufficient but it is still pleasing to see that our investment in solar is panning out.
