I have to laugh

According to the BBC “excitement is building up across the UK” over this stupid, ill-advised and unnecessary phone alert test they have been having. In 56 years I have never needed to be alerted about any kind of danger.

The day I let the government send alerts to my phone will be a cold one in hell and if it hadn’t been possible to turn the alerts off (which I did within one moment of finding out they were going to do it), my phone would have been at the bottom of Loch Goil alerting the little fishes. Inevitably they will start sending out alerts willy-nilly for every stupid contrived “emergency” some snowflakes make up.
