Double plus ungood

This has not just been an annus horribilis, it has been an annus super horribilis.

The day before Christmas Eve I tripped on the path coming down from the waterfalls.  I fell headlong down the slope, cracked my head and landed on my shoulder.  With difficulty I managed to hobble home

I’ve sprained my ankle and done something to my shoulder.   On Christmas Eve I could hardly walk, and on Christmas Day R had to push me into the dining room on my office chair.  I was sort of back on my feet on Boxing Day but I can’t say I feel great at all.

Yes, I know I should have gone to the Doctor, but I don’t like Doctors or Hospitals and all they would do is potentially put me in plaster and keep me in hospital over Christmas.

So I will just recover myself.
