Dragonflies

Many dragonflies around the pool today. Before we came to Argyll I had only ever seen them in Spain – but here there are lots, and not only around places like our pond where you would expect to find them, but also in rather more unlikely places. For example there are loads of the small red and blue one (which I think technically are damsel flies rather than dragonflies) on the path out to Coran Lochan.

This one thinks it is camouflaged.
