View from the Steeple

Climbed the Steeple today. There are lovely views but it is not my favourite walk because there is literally no path, and you have to wade through heather the whole way. I am no snowflake in that respect, but I have to admit that I am always on the lookout for adders. I have never seen one in Argyll, but there used to be a lot around my parents’ house in Dumfriesshire. Their next door neighbour’s cat used to catch them and bring them into their conservatory.
