Christmas Presents

R and I have asked people to keep to a minimum of presents this year. I would like a little glass animal (I have a collection) and R would like a bottle of whisky. The balance of what people would have spent I have asked them to donate to either the Cats’ protection or the Salvation Army.

The reason for this is that frankly anything I want (within reason) I buy for myself during the course of the year and I also feel that charities will be struggling this year.

On a separate note, my turkey arrived yesterday. The unfortunate consequence to R’s idea about buying everything early and freezing it in case the whole mess they have made over Brexit causes shortages, is that my whole chest freezer is full of my festive food, making it very difficult to find anything in it.
