Home made Peanut butter dispenser

A few weeks ago we got an order of seeds in from a different company than Amazon. All the Amazon seeds seem to take for ever and a day to be delivered, and also don’t seem to have very precise delivery dates.

So we got some seeds a few weeks ago during their so called “lockdown” from a different company and not only did they deliver really quickly, but they also sent us a bonus of a peanut butter feeder. This seemed to go down well with the little birds and also had the advantage that the pigeons, seagulls and crows couldn’t get to it. We tried to order it again with the next consignment of seeds, but either because of the fascist regime and their foolish actions, or because too many people liked it, it was out of stock.

So I had a go at making my own. I took a jar of crunchy peanut butter and mixed it up with some currants and seeds, then put it back into the original feeder. It remains to be seen how it goes down.

I went and sat out in the garden this afternoon. I had been planning on doing some weeding but it was too hot so I sat down in the grass and something bit me hard on the calf. I just hope it was a cleg and not an adder.
