Tomatoes, onions and a weasel

We have been having a huge problem getting orders of food here. R who is an Internet diva may have managed to source an ASDA delivery for today, but it remains to be seen whether they actually turn up. So to try to get us over this self-induced “crisis” R managed to source us some tomatoes – which bizarrly come from the Isle of Wight. 3kg of them turned up in a huge box yesterday – I didn’t realize how much 3kg actually looked like but they are beautiful quality. I also bought some onions from Amazon (who knew they sold them) and they have turned out to be tiny shallot types rather than the big ones I normally buy.
So last night I turned as much as possible of the produce into pasta sauce which took quite some time.

R and I also had an interesting experience on our walk yesterday. Half way up to the waterfall we suddenly saw a little head pointing out from the grass by the ditch. It was a weasel – the first one we have seen since we moved here. We watched it for a while and it watched us back – then suddenly it shot across the path and vanished into the wood. Unfortunately we couldn’t get a photo as it was too small and too fast.
