Halloween

Halloween

We had a little Halloween celebration at our place.
I was an evil nun, N was Vlad the Impaler, J was a witch, and R was the little man who does the reaping. We each did our guising piece although I must admit that mine was written by Tora.

Thrice the vole and mouse have squeaked
Thrice and once the marten howled
Round about the food bowl go
In the mixture, vomit throw
Grass from garden lately picked
Leave it now within the sick.
Bladder of a Tasty shrew
In the bowl be sure to strew

Trouble, trouble making trouble
Food bowl sniff and food bowl bubble

Fillet of a juicy trout
From the oven take it out
Wing of bat and tail of mouse
Bring them all within the house
Fox and badger need not come
Food bowl brew is mine alone.

Trouble, trouble making trouble
Food bowl sniff and food bowl bubble

From the food bowl take no food
Add Prawns and ham which might be good.
Frog from out the pond I add
Slugs from out the ground arent bad
Add thereto a baby bird
In the mixture put a turd

For a charm of kitty strength
Have the food bowl raise a stench

Trouble, trouble making trouble
Food bowl sniff and food bowl bubble

The witch’s costume was too small for J as it was bought for me, and the two of us had a struggle getting it on to him.

Anyway, we managed it

Here is me as the evil nun.

We then had a splendid meal with a “puking pumpkin”, aboleth stew with mashed brains, and slime jelly with eyeballs.

Afterwards there was a fantastic sunset. If you look closely at the photo you will notice what appear to be two red eyes in the bushes.

We went outside to let off some fireworks, scaring off two badgers, a pine marten and a barn owl. I felt a bit bad about this but the badgers at least were back during the night.
