No Broad Beans

I have to say I give up on broad beans. They are tasty but take way too much processing.
So I bought a pack of them from ASDA. First of all I had to take them out of their pods. The pack of pods was huge, but once the beans had been (lols) taken out, there was literally only a handful of them. Then I blanched them briefly – this caused the skins to go grey and wrinkle up, so I had to remove the skins which must have taken me 30 minutes.

Not worth it I am afraid compared with either buying them frozen or just having some nice petit pois.
