A new addition to the Garden of Remembrance

Schrodi’s little garden of remembrance got a new addition when my Mum bought a wee Robin for it. I am sure Schrodi in life would have liked this, although I don’t think the Robin would really have appreciated him!

The plants in the new garden are also coming on well – my Mum also got me some Cosmos which is coming into flower and looks nice. My only concern is that the nasturtiums I bought are doing rather too well and look as though they are set to take over the whole bed. I may have to transplant them elsewhere. When I was a child we used to call these “nippy biscuits” because the leaves are edible but have a sharp, peppery taste.
