Weather bad and river very high

The river is about as high today as I have seen it since the first year we moved in. That was the year it rained every day between September and March. Anyway, today it is a total raging torrent and I would not give much for the chances of anyone who fell in.

Our pond is also totally flooded with the water spilling out all over the lawn. I hope matters improve by the weekend as I am going down to see my Mum in Helensburgh. I definitely need to be able to get back as R is off to London on Sunday and I need to be here for the cats.
