Beautiful Weather

The weather here for the last week has been so warm and sunny I can hardly believe it. Certainly nothing like the Argyll we are used to. For me it is too hot though, and I did notice yesterday afternoon that our friends the midgies were starting to turn up.

Having said this – the views over the loch have been superb.

The other night I walked up to the waterfall – what I call “Golum’s pool” because it looks just like the scene from Lord of the Rings where Golum catches a fish and is apprehended by Faramir. I had a nice swim although it was a bit tricky to get in the water due to mud and tree trunks. I would put the picture of me up but I don’t think it is very flattering!

Tomorrow the guy from the air conditioning company is coming to taking a look at putting a system in to my office. At the moment it is more or less intolerable as the temperature is at nearly 30 degrees.
