Done something very stupid

I was clearing the loft out having acquired a very expensive skip on the basis it was better to do that than to have to be driving backwards and forwards to the tip in Helensburgh all the time. Our loft is only partially floored and carrying a box of books (I don’t use paper books any more – only the electronic versions on my tablet), I slightly slipped and stepped to one side, putting my foot on the fibre glass insulation. I didn’t put my full weight on it and I’m not that heavy anyway so I thought no more of it. It wasn’t until the next morning that I noticed that we had a huge piece out of the ceiling, with one of the light fittings dangling out. Luckily our local plasterer was able to come quickly and replace it – but I am now going to get the whole loft floored – it is obviously quite dangerous the way it is at the moment.

I didn’t take a picture of the ceiling and it wasn’t that interesting anyway – so here is a picture of Tora with a rose.
