Donich Path Notice

Thank goodness that the Forestry Commission have posted some notices on the Donich Circular path forbidding the use of motor vehicles. Not only have there been trail bikes seen going up there – but the Dutch army actually took an armoured car up there. They have been told by the FC to repair the path which actually took a lot of damage from their activities – to the point that it was a sea of mud for days.

I’m not a big “health and safety” fan and in fact I hate all this modern political correctness – but having motor vehicles on that path is actually really dangerous – particularly as I wander around it listening to audio books on my headphones. There should be a right for walkers to be on this type of path without having to constantly worry about being run down. So thanks to the FC for the notices.
