Winter Wonderland

Woke up this morning to find that it is snowing at loch level for the first time this year. Normally I love snow, but my mum and her friend were supposed to be coming for lunch today and I had made loads of food. One look at the web cam on the Rest though and I realized I would have to put it all in the freezer as it was a near whiteout and there was loads of snow even on the A83 itself. The council really must have got caught with their pants down on this one – not gritting the Lochgoilhead road is one thing – but the main road to Oban and Campbell town is quite another.
