Fox meet Badger

We saw an amusing encounter between a young fox and a large badger the other night. The fox was originally eating the peanuts when the badger arrived. For a few moments it looked as though it was going to stand its ground but the badger just glared at it and it quickly backed off.

The last fox we had visiting I think was shot by the farmer as it was in the field with his lambs – so I hope this one stays away from the agricultural land.

The cats are not keen on foxes though so it would really be better if it wasn’t in our garden.
