Mountain in the mist
It has been terribly, terribly wet here – definitely the worst July we have had since we lived here (and seems like the worst I can remember ever). The weather does from time to time generate some nice views, like this one out to Stob an Eas the other night. There is something almost primeval about the peak jutting out from the mists, as though you could expect a pterodactyl to swoop over at any minute.
It was actually so wet on our walk this morning that we saw a frog swimming (I jest you not) down the middle of what used to be a path but has turned of late into an impromptu stream. My bush tomatoes have a few small green fruit, but at this rate of progress they are never going to ripen.
