Water Lilies

The water lilies are out now and looking very pretty.  Unfortunately, the weather is so chill, damp and midgie that there isn’t much pleasure in outdoor activities at the moment.  Even our usual walks have to be squashed into the intervals between rain time and midgie time.  Still, we are off to Switzerland on Friday and hopefully it will be more pleasant there, although it looks as though it may be too hot for R’s taste (and to a lesser extent, mine).

J is cat sitting for us so hopefully the weather in LGH will be a bit better and he will be able to sit at the summerhouse with a G&T and admire the flowers without getting bitten to pieces.
