After the rain

It was miserable weather yet again this morning.  R and I walked around Inverary for a while, went to the woollen mill and didn’t buy anything.  Then we thought about walking up to the folly at the castle but the rain was coming down heavily so we didn’t and just went home again.

I was feeling a bit down in the dumps, but then after lunch it suddenly cleared up.  I took a quick walk up Cnoc Coinnich – it was beautiful up there, but so windy that trying to put my coat on I nearly lost control of it and saw it fly off in the direction of Loch Lomond.

Then after dinner tonight – R and I walked along the loch front to the beach at the far end.  It was lovely and peaceful with a beautiful sunset.

The weather is supposed to be better tomorrow – so perhaps we will have one more try for Ben Lui.
