I would walk 1000 miles…

Indeed R and I just did… This was the View Ranger challenge to walk 1000 miles in 2016 completed – and considering we didn’t get started until end of Jan (because they didn’t announce it until then), placing at 41st was not too bad (although the guy that came first must be a real machine…).

Actually I have walked far more than that because their challenge only worked while I had the phone app running – the Fitbit gives a much more realistic score because I wear it all the time – it has me at about 1700 for this year.

Just to celebrate this milestone I went out for our daily walk this morning in a T-shirt and shorts and got soaked to the skin when the heavens opened. There was spectacular thunder and lightning over night so I suppose I should have had more sense…
