Walk to Coran

It was another lovely day today, and as R was testing and I was reporting, I went for a walk down to Coran Lochan at the end of the peninsula on my own.

What a gorgeous walk. Bright sunshine and about 12 degrees. It amazes me now that when we first came here we were tired out by this walk – now at about 8 miles it seems a bit of a stroll.

I saw a deer, my first butterfly of the season (a peacock which I tried in vain to get a photo of) and three people in total over the whole walk.

There were some scouts out on the loch when I got back, and I wondered if they realized how fortunate they were to have selected this week in the great lottery which is the Argyll weather.
