Nice Meeting

We were very happy to recently have some visitors from Australia who had a family connection with the ‘old’ Donich Lodge (former house on the site where we now live). We took the opportunity to show them round, including the wall in the back garden which is all that now remains of the former house.

We also discovered from them that the house may be haunted – I can’t say I have seen any evidence of it though.

The picture is of the old house – which was much bigger than this one and also had a separate cottage with servants’ accommodation.

So really nice to meet you guys and if R and I ever come back to Perth in Australia we will definitely look you up.
