Some people never learn….

I have one huge Tech problem – I have a real addiction to upgrading my kit, including to pre-production ‘preview’ versions. Last year R told me not to upgrade to Windows Phone 8.1 preview – I went ahead anyway and had an ‘interesting’ few months dealing with teething troubles. I said I would never do it again, and I didn’t until errr…. Windows 10 preview, and then Windows 10 Phone preview. So the long and the short of it is that once again I have a brand new and largely unsupported OS on my beloved Lumia 1020, and it had worked consistently perfectly until last night.

About 7pm we took the cats for a walk in the ‘garden’ (the inverted commas are because the garden I am talking about is acres of wild woods and river). The cats love the area but they seem a bit wary of going there on their own in the evening because of all the deer, badgers etc. So R and I often walk down there with them, and watch them crossing the Donich jumping between stones, climbing trees etc. I thought I might get some good photos of them but they were not in the mood for crossing the river, so we turned back towards the house. Suddenly both of them shot up the same tree, climbed up 15 feet or so and ended up in the same fork in the trunk with Schrodi right on top of Tora. It was the most hilariously funny scene and I raised my phone to take a photo of it for posterity. Right at that moment, the camera app crashed, and while I was trying to restart it, the cats untangled themselves and jumped down.

So R says that it is my own fault and I will know better in the future. I say some people never learn….
