Lovely Night

It is past beautiful here tonight. R and I just walked down to the loch and back and it is really quite a sight to be seen.

Only trouble is that I thought our ‘friends’ the midges had left us for this year, but this evening they are back to some extent, though nothing like a few weeks ago. I tried to sit out on the decking when we got home (at about 8pm) and it really wasn’t a happening deal. Having said this – they were not in evidence during the day today even though it was hot and humid after heavy rain last night. Unfortunate that they always turn up just at the point where without them it would be paradise on earth.
