Improved view

The view from our house is absolutely lovely don’t get me wrong. The very first time R and I looked at the house I said that it was 97% perfect and the missing 3% was that there is a row of houses about 500m between us and the mountains which slightly impacts our view. His comment back was that it was just as well they were there because if they weren’t the house would have been too expensive for us to buy!

Anyway – it occurred to me to see what the view would look like with the houses taken out – so here it is. This is courtesy of paint.net which is an excellent free program which I would thoroughly recommend. It is not as fully featured as PhotoShop – but it certainly does everything I need it to.
