Boats on the Loch

There’s lots of activities on the water and in the village as a whole at the moment. I was recently asked to be on the committee for the local paper (“The Wee Goil”) and on my way to the monthly meeting on Tuesday, I think I saw more people than in the whole of Jan and Feb put together. Quite nice in a way – but I have to say that I have a sneaking liking for the empty Lochgoilhead of the winter. It is very pleasant here in summer, but it doesn’t have that sense of highland isolation and remoteness that the winter brought. But remind me that I said that come January and I will probably think I was insane!
