Beautiful walk this morning

R and I went for our usual walk this morning as the weather was pretty good.

The Highland cows were on the path as was the resident bull who we have christened ‘Billy Big Balls’. They are very placid creatures that don’t seem to be alarmed by humans at all – but they have fearsome horns and I am sure they could do serious damage if they were provoked.

As we came back into the village the sun was just coming up over the mountains and turning them pink. I stopped to take a photo of the Goil Inn over the loch and it really looked the epitome of a traditional Highlands Inn with the smoke rising from its chimney and the snowy mountains in the background.
