When I came back, they had come up to the fence and I went to say hello. One is either a small horse or a large pony; the other is a small pony – but not I think a Shetland as it is not stocky enough.
Anyway they were very friendly but obviously looking for a treat, so I went back to the house and got them a carrot each. They consumed this with great relish and looked for more.
I like horses so I am hoping they will be permanent residents.
