We had the survey of Donich Lodge done – believe it or not we got all ‘1’s (meaning no fault found) on our Home Buyers’ Report.  I will give myself, R and J a lot of credit for this as we have fixed lots of things that we right out of our comfort zone.  In fact it has been a bit of a life lesson that you can do many things you don’t think you can when you really put your mind to it.  For example I mended our back door with a proper new wooden panel, J insulated some pipes, R cleared a creeper from the roof etc, etc, etc.

We had the photos taken earlier in the week so the house will be on the market soon.  I hope the new owners will love this place as much as we have with the walks and the wildlife, the peace and the isolation.  I sometimes have doubts in my mind that we are doing the right thing, but sometimes it is just time to move on to some new excitements.
