Mothers’ Day

We took my mum to the Knockderry House Hotel near Cove for afternoon tea today.  It was a lovely day; the photo is from the terrace outside the hotel.

I have never been to the Cove peninsula before (many years ago we tried to go there – pre satnav and ended up taking the Dunoon ferry by mistake).   On the way there were two incredibly annoying cyclists who deliberately rode two abreast on a narrow twisty road and refused to let anyone pass them.  Somehow, although a delightful passtime, cycling seems to attract more than its fair share of utter dickheads.

The tea was pretty good, although I will say not as nice as I could have made myself.
